Le waterpark & leisure village is a great place to take the kids to take a cool day off. Featuring fantastic rides such as the mushroom shower, paradise cove and the wave pool, kids will have a great time and adults will be able to chill out and relax in the adult's pool. It is a good way to spend a couple of hours. Furthermore three fantastic beaches are awaiting you in the nearby, namely at Belle Mare, Palmar and Trou D'eau Douce. These beaches combine clean powdery sand with lots of shades from filao trees, and mainly lots of sunshine.
Flic - en - Flac is gorgeous. It streches for a mile or so along the coast with white sand and a deep blue sea lagoon.
Casela, set in the district of Black River, in the west of the island, streches over 25 hectares and contains more than 140 species of birds from five continents. There are also various types of animals like kangaroos, tigers and monkeys. Outdoor sport activities are located inside the park. Ile aux Cerfs is a very well known island. It is a beautiful place with white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. The experience of viewing the hills, waterfall and the sunshine is a must. Curepipe is known as the city of light. One of its most beautiful attraction is Trou aux Cerfs, a dormant volcano. It has been dormant for millions of years. It is situated in the upper part of Curepipe where you will have a spectacular view of Mauritius while standing up there.
The botanical garden of Curepipe contains one of the rarest palm trees of the world, a unique specimen. The garden is used to keep all varieties of rare plants that could not get acclimatised in other regions around the island.

It is ideal to walk in Mahebourg Waterfront. It is a very well known place in Mauritius and close to ONS Motel. A good place to take time out during day and night time.
The National Naval History Musuem retraces the history of the successive colonisation of Mauritius by the Dutch, French and the British up to the end of 19th century. The Musuem is housed in a beautiful 17th century country house, which is listed as a National Monument.
Overlooking Gran Port district is Lion Mountain so named because it resembles a crouching lion and a there is a wonderful view of it from ONS Motel.
Around Mahebourg there are many islands that can be visited such as "Mouchoir Rouge", "Ile aux Aigrettes" and "Ile aux Phares".
Ile aux Aigrettes is a small island near Mahebourg, is now a reserve. About 40 different species of endemic plants can be found on the island and about 40 kestrels and pink pigeons have taken residence on it.

The road to Chamarel is one of the most scenic, taking in the Mare-aux-Vacoas, a large man made lake, the crater lake of grand bassin which has become a place of pilgrimage and the Black River gorges. Black River gorges national park provides opportunities for the visitor to enjoy spectacular natural scenery and some of the unique endemic plants and birdlife.

Golf
Mauritius can be considered as a golf destination. Many private clubs are now open with practice nets and a store room for golf equipments. There is an 18-hole golf course, which is the unique one, in vacoas in the Gymkhana club.
Casinos
This is another one of the island's attractions and is catered for on a lavish scale by people. The casinos offer a variety of tables as well as one-armed bandits of fruit machine.
Horse Racing
Of outstanding interest for visitors is horse racing at the Champ de Mars in Port Louis. The race course is one of tis kind and is the oldest one.
